Hi everyone. The deadline for the applications are now until September 21st - 11:59 EST. Any later and your disqualified. I just want to say that by the looks of it this contest might not start due to lack of participants

Yea, so all those people who said "someone should make a couples contest" where are you? Very discouraging to know that all these people who wanted this are now gone. So i'm hoping for a burst of applicants

Aww, it seems screen shot comps are dying down. Maybe a 2nd/3rd/4th season of one of the others would get people back in the 'mood' lol

Not only this, but the entire game. I rarely even play. How can you play a dead game? I was trying to make this as maybe a substitute for Guild Wars. Sadly, this hasn't worked out unless there is an uproar of applications in the next week, which, well no one can say, but it is unlikely. If you really want this competition to go on, all I can say is your our last hope. Tell your friends, your guild mates, anyone. I'm still telling you if this contest went on, it would be better than anything

it's ashame we might not be able to show everyone that.

I guess this was ultimately horrible timing for most of the people. I would love to enter another screenshot contest too

Sadly, there are so few that might never have another cycle. Makes me wonder where the host for TNTM is

? I understand how hard it is to find a partner. I almost want to make a solo screenshot contest because I know it has the potential to attract so many more people but I haven't had the best luck with these contest things. I just miss all the stuff that happens when a screenshot contest takes place. It almost makes Guru and Guild Wars appealing again.

You can say that again, i dont think ive ever had as much fun in this game as i did when i was in TMWM

. I think it was the large gap between the announcement and the start that was the problem really,i guess alot of people forgot about it. Could be wrong though.

I think it is just that everyone knows what kind of commitment is required - I know that I won't have the time every week this time, so I bow out from time issues. Like Diddy Bow, the community around TMWM was the most fun I've ever had in the world of GW.

Meh, I really wanted me and Merc to enter this and I'm sorry to add to the drop out posts...but we won't be able to make it. I'm in my last year of high school (more work, yay...) and we're having a bit of a rocky patch atm. I really hope you guys will manage to find enough participates though, it might be refreshing and maybe even "more fair"

to see some new faces.

I like so many others wanted to take part, what you had set up was looking so promising BB! Timing is definitely bad for me since we accepted an offer on our house and I would be in the middle of moving to LA when the competition got extremely fierce (provided we even got that far) but I would hate to have taken someone's place if I would have had to bow out later...that would just be selfish so I'd rather cheer people on <3. I really hope it goes thru I do love to see you guys and your work along with what the host and judges come up with - so many talented people.

BB, i can't tell u how much i wanted to enter this comp, i dearly hope u got enough entries. there were and still are multiple issues stopping me (and kiti obviously) from entering. and i know how annoying this must be for u from the last comp u had.

i know i can say for sure i miss the TMWM community and all the other comps. i after TMWM i know exactly how much effort goes into it. for entrants i know its hard to find the time to enter but its worth every effort to 'make' the time IF it is at all possible to do so.

ahh the parties how i miss them!

I would push it back again but that doesn't promise anything. Right now it seems that it is canceled unless anyone has some miraculous ideas? I am incredibly sorry; this was going to be an amazing contest. We really had so much fun planning assignments and what not. We had a great lineup of judges and appearances. Maybe one day it will happen, but I guess I need to time it better :/ again, if anyone has suggestions please tell me. Maybe if you still want this contest to happen, PM me, telling me when you think you have the time to enter. I want this to be good for everyone. This might actually be better for me as well and my judges because I am incredibly busy right now. But if you were hoping to join and can't find the time, PM me, and tell me when your schedule will be good for this. For people who sent in apps, I am so very sorry. They were all great and I'll say this now that your effort will go toward the contest if it is revamped again. But anyway! We'll see what happens. I do want to show you guys the first assignment picture. You guys can make your assumptions, but we won't see what it means unless the contest goes on

I'm so far behind! Aww that sucks.

I was looking forward to seeing this contest and how well it went.

I do have a suggestion - perhaps host this over a holiday when people would be off school and work, or even in the summer (though I know that's a long way away). I'd enter but my time gets more limited every day plus I don't have a partner and I like just watching from the sidelines.

I was going to host cycle 2 of my contest but my judges disappeared and I finally decided I'd rather spend the prize money on things for myself rather than give it away.

And hardly anyone seems to really be playing Guild Wars now, we're all waiting for the sequel. I wish it would come out faster, I'm getting so impatient. Even though I will need a new computer but still. lol

Anyway, sorry to see the contest closed down but hopefully it will resume.

Awe BB such a nice pic <3 what was the assignment to be? Ya know...wonder if there was a way to do a mini version so whomever happens to be free can enter, kinda like Lokii did with her mini comps...I just hate to see what u have done not get used *hugs* /gah I have not been visiting guru enough...hope to check in sooner than later! *hugs*....
